Situation
Abe Abudaiah, a Corporate Real Estate Advisor at Encor Advisors in Toronto, was presented with a requirement from one of his clients that he was not used to servicing. His client, a business in the regulatory service industry, was working remotely and wanted space to gather for 2-3 days each month. Typically, Abe would look to show his clients a monthly or yearly office space with a landlord or coworking provider, but the need for space for less than one month presented a challenge on where to go. After scanning the market, it was clear that coworking would be a good start, and Flexday gave Abe the ability to make an introduction to his client without having to call and email dozens of operators. Solution
Flexday was able to connect with Abe and his client over a zoom, learn about their needs, and send them tailored options to meet those needs. The initial booking was going to be a trial run for what would turn into a consistent cadence of office days each month. After canvassing their team and getting input from leadership, it was determined that the traditional-style meeting room at a coworking space would be the best setup for what they needed, and they went ahead and secured the meeting room for 3 days as part of their initial booking.
Results
The team enjoyed their time in the space and took advantage of the amenities at their fingertips: state of the art meeting space, lounge spaces, private phone booths, unlimited coffee & tea, and a central location to limit commute times for all attendees. This resulted in establishing a regular cadence of bookings at this coworking location, in this specific meeting room. For Abe, this was a fantastic way for him to provide value to his clients in connecting them to their new homebase by leveraging the expertise and connections of Flexday.
